Voice-Swap will be hosting a panel at AVA Conference London at the British Library this Thursday at 3pm. Titled ‘How to Survive the AI Apocalypse’, we’ll be breaking down the impact of AI on artists, producers and singers, as well as discussing its impact in the wider music industry. The conference features keynotes from iconic artists like Brian Eno, Laurent Garnier and Charli XCX, so we were honoured to be asked to take part.
With AI one of the most hyped technologies of the past two decades, we wanted to break through the hysteria and offer practical advice and guidance for artists on how to protect their IP and identities while also exploring and creating new revenue streams on their own terms.
Our guests include Lex Dromgoole from AI music platform Bronze, who’ve worked with the likes of Richie Hawtin, Disclosure and Arca, analyst and AI expert David Boyle, artist and Voice-Swap member Ruth Royall and CEO of UK Music Tom Kiehl. Ruth recently worked with us to create a translation project, so she’ll be discussing the project and how it came about, as well as the process of cloning her voice for Voice-Swap users.
Catch us there at 3pm in the British Library, in the Eliot Room. We’ll also be around afterwards so come and say hello!
