Voice-Swap demoed at GRAMMY’s On The Hill in Washington DC
Voice-Swap has been demoed in Washington DC as an example of how AI can help artists, rather than hurt them. Every year, the Recording Academy, the world's leading society of music professionals, comes to Washington to explore the most pressing issues in the music industry. This year the event, GRAMMYs On The Hill, launched a new day of talks called Future Forum, debates and discussions on AI and its impact on artists, rights holders and the wider industry.

Future Forum was organised in collaboration with the
Human Artistry Campaign, a collective of organisations including the RIAA, Featured Artists Coalition, and UK Music dedicated to standing up for human-made art and rights in the age of AI. We were honoured that Voice-Swap was chosen to be demoed at the event as an example of an ethical AI voice-cloning platform that not only protects artists’ rights but offers them a brand new income stream via royalties paid at the point of inference.

Academy member and Governor of the Recording Academy's Chicago Chapter Dani Deahl, joined the panel host Todd Dupler, the Chief Advocacy & Public Policy Officer at the Recording Academy and Grammy-nominated artist Kokayi to demo Voice-Swap, and even created a live demo of Kokayi, whose vocals were transformed into one of our female singers live on stage. The panel then discussed the potential of ethical AI, trained with consent, to completely transform music-making tools and create new IP for artists, distinct from existing deals and contracts.
It was an honour to be demoed in front of such a prestigious audience at such an esteemed event. Thank you to the Recording Academy and thank you Dani!
